Anthera Receives Operation License

Anthera Pharmaceuticals announces that, on February 14, 2024, the company was granted the unified installation and operation license for a duration of ten (10) years, in accordance with the provisions of Article 2A, paragraph 1 of Law 4139/2013.

The license authorizes the establishment and operation of the company’s vertically integrated facility for the production of final pharmaceutical cannabis products, including dried flower, under the applicable Greek regulatory framework.

The licensed facility is located on a unified site in the area of Skoutela, Ancient Corinth, Greece.

This milestone marks a significant step in the development of Anthera Pharmaceuticals, enabling the company to proceed with the implementation of its operational activities in compliance with national legislation and supporting its strategy to supply high-quality, pharmaceutical-grade medical cannabis products to international markets.

The company is currently advancing its EU-GMP certification process and expects to obtain its EU-GMP certification within 2025, further strengthening its position as a reliable pharmaceutical-grade manufacturer for the European market.
